Right now the HTC Desire HD and Incredible S are getting their OTA Gingerbread updates in Europe. But many people were wondering about the HTC Desire Z among other handsets. Packed away in a comment on HTC's Support Site is this little nugget of info: “…we optimise the experience for each handset, for example, HTC Desire HD and Desire Z have different screen sizes. Gingerbread for Desire Z is coming before the end of June“. Certainly makes sense and the timeline is reasonable. Meanwhile, owners of the T-Mobile G2 should be getting their version of Gingerbread sometime this summer according to the latest rumors.
